Damien Williams ARPS is profoundly interested in visualising what is often felt but not seen. His Black Other project was received well by the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (earning him the distinction of ARPS) which was a biographical project that used a juxtaposition of archival images and poetic abstraction as a means to communicate the message. This journey started on the life-changing MA course at Falmouth University. Damien achieved his MA at Falmouth University, whilst teaching across the continuum of Creative Arts and Media in Singapore. Alongside being a photographer and teacher he has a background in video editing and short filmmaking. Outside of photography he is known for coaching/mentoring people to reach their potential, he is also skilled at organisational structures and curriculum design in education. He is an experienced speaker and workshop leader in the educational sector as a result of being an Apple Distinguished Educator since 2008.
